B&D Controll-A-Door 4 (CAD4) garage door opener is a popular model in the Australian market. However, some CAD4 units may stop working after a few years, and a common issue is a fault in the built-in radio reception of the unit's PC board. This does not mean the board is completely dead, as adding a stand-alone receiver can restore functionality. Installing a receiver kit CAD4 KIT is a straightforward process: simply hook up the two-wire harness to terminals 1 and 2 at the back of the CAD4 unit. To confirm if your CAD4 has lost reception, you can create a short circuit (a of pulse) by using a piece of wire or long needle pliers beteen  the terminal 1 and 2 and observe if the opener starts functioning again.

Please note the manufacturer has ceased production of the board for B&D CAD4. What is available now is used one which has been tested and works fine.

CAD4PC is the logic control board suitable for B&D Control A Door series openers with operatimg frequency of 433.92MHZ:

- B&D Controll-A-Door 4 (CAD4 model number 062196, 062199/4410EBD, 062200)
- BM4 (062103/4400EBLDS), BM4, Controll-A-Door P,
- Easylifter 62102/440EBD and
- Firmamatic (model number 062400/4400EEO and 062196/4400EFM)
- Also suitable for 50739/420EBD and CENTRRION.

Good to know :

The exact layout of the print circuit board may vary by models and versions, however, as long as the length of antenna is about 20cm long, this CAD4PC will be compatible each anothers.
If the length of antenna is longer than 1 meter that means frequency is 27MHZ . It will not be compatible, 

Our board used one has been tested and always marked before dispatch. Purpose of the mark to avoid mix up with exiting faulty board by purchaser.
