The Digital302-Direct remote can be programmed directly into the opener. However, this process will delete the previous codes, meaning your existing remotes will no longer work. This option is ideal if your old remote has been lost or stolen.

If you still have working remotes, you should choose the Digital302-Copy remote instead. It copies the signal from your existing remote, allowing you to keep using your old remote alongside the new one.

Good to know :

The Digital302-COPY and Digital302-DIRECT remotes are different. The Digital302-DIRECT remote has its own code and can be programmed directly into the opener. The Digital302-COPY remote does not have its own code and must copy the code from an existing working remote.
